We spend so much of our lives holding it together—managing schedules, caring for others, and scrolling through the noise. What if you could just… stop?

Join us for RECONNECT, a transformative 4-day long weekend dedicated to the art of slowing down. Hosted by Ataahua Art, this is a sacred space for women to weave together movement, mindfulness, and creative expression.

We practice "Parallel Presence"—the ability to be together without the pressure to entertain. You can paint without being an artist. You can move your body just to feel good. You can nap when you’re tired.

This special ANZAC Weekend Edition is designed to honor the tradition of remembrance while holding space for your deep restoration.

✨ The Experience: What Awaits You

• Embodied Movement: Daily Yoga flows led by qualified instructors to awaken energy, and restorative sessions to ground the nervous system.

• Creative Expression: Intuitive art workshops designed for all levels. We focus on "process over perfection."

• The "Village" Vibe: We sleep in a shared hall, eat communal meals, and share stories by the fire. It is a return to simplicity.

• Deep Rest: Optional massage bookings available onsite to melt away tension.

📅 The Itinerary (Friday to Monday)

Friday 24 April: Arrival & Connection

• 12:00 PM: Gates Open. Settle into the hall and choose your mattress.

• Afternoon: Free time & Massage appointments available.

• Evening: Welcome Yoga, Dinner, and "Get To Know You" Bonfire & Singing night.

Saturday 25 April: Remembrance & Grounding (ANZAC Day)

• Dawn: Optional group trip to the local ANZAC Dawn Service.

• Morning: Sleep-in/Rest followed by a hearty breakfast.

• Midday: Nature Walk & Sanctuary Art Session. We head into the forestry area to create ephemeral art with nature.

• Evening: Restorative Yoga & Dinner.

Sunday 26 April: Reflection & Self-Love

• Morning: Energizing Yoga Flow.

• Midday: "Beautiful Me" Workshop. A clay art session crafting jewellery or mirrors to reflect inner beauty.

• Evening: Feast Night & Closing Fire Ceremony.

Monday 27 April: Integration & Farewell

• Morning: Final Yoga Flow & Breakfast.

• 10:00 AM: Village Clean-Up. We work together in community spirit to leave the land beautiful.

• 11:00 AM: Closing Circle.

• 12:00 PM: Camp Closed.

🎒 The "Village" Logistics (Good to Know)

• Sleeping: Accommodation is "Dorm Style" in the large Mt Samson Community Hall.

• The Best Part: We provide the mattresses! No need to bring a camping bed. Just bring your sheets, pillow, and warm doona.

• Amenities: Clean shared toilets, showers, and kitchen facilities on-site.

• Community Contribution: We run this camp as a village. We ask all sisters to assist with light duties (clearing their own plates) and the final group clean-up on Monday. This builds friendship and keeps our space sacred.
